Bf2 had the best rank structure nothing beats using real ranks for level up. I don't know what this other numbers rank up crap is.

BC2, BF3, and BF4 define the franchise and are kindof in a class of their own. I like BF Hardline and BF1 but they don’t have the core components of a BF game and they kinda do their own thing. A lot of people praise BF1 but to me the movement feels clunky, the guns feel boring and I like the diverse customization, movement, and equipment of BF3 and 4. Battlefield 1 is all about immersion, but with this in my opinion Hell Let Loose does a better job in this regard. When I think of Battlefield 3 and 4 I think about gameplay and game mechanics. To this day even AAA games have yet to replicate such well rounded gameplay mechanics, like BF3 and 4 compete with modern day shooters over a decade later. I also find that vehicles are a lot more balanced in 3 and 4 and with the amount of counter play there is to them, it takes a skilled player to use vehicles effectively. Bullet velocity and gun ballistics in 3 and 4 also feel better especially with snipers where bullet drop is significantly steeper and slower bullet velocity has you leading your shots much more. Guns and snipers in bf1 and V felt much more hitscan and arcady to me where BF3 and 4 feels much more raw. It creates a skill gap in the playerbase where players that actually master the mechanics of the game can outplay opponents and feel rewarded for their skill. I still play BF4 to this day mainly because I continually find myself getting better and better at this game over the years whereas modern games design their game mechanics to cater to casuals and the general demographic. Also say what you will but I prefer battlepacks over battlepasses. And the easter eggs of BF4 are unmatched.

I'm a bit late for the party but it was nice video, I used to snipe a lot in ps3 days especially while playing solo but since I play with other people I run medic/engineer most of the time but I think I will get back to sniping and that guide reminded me of few things with sniping(and made be learn some new tips)

In my opinion, BF2142 is one of the best, if not the best game in the series. Its main disadvantage is the old engine, however, we cannot rate the game so low because of it. Just think about it, four thoughtful classes, a lot of new gadgets such as a turret, homing mines or a landing beacon, new types of equipment that no longer exist in any part, such as Robots and Titans. New abilities such as active defense of vehicles and EMP grenades. A brand new, stunning, incomparable Titans mode in which you storm a futuristic ship soaring in the sky, terrifying in its appearance. Capsule flights in the sky and the rapid assault of the enemy titan felt like you were pirates of the 22nd century, pumped up with new weapons, gadgets and adrenaline. No game has given me such feelings as BF2142, I'm still reviewing trailers on UA-cam. To be honest, I think a huge number of people would like to remaster or remake this part on a new engine. And even better is the BF2143.
